I’m excited to announce the launch of my new course, “Elevate Your English: Reading and Writing for Real Life”!
I got the idea for thiscourse when I saw the struggles of some of the smartest teenagers. Their exceptional grades were the envy of their friends and peers. But when it came to presenting their essays for college admissions, they were lost.
Their thoughts were not structured, the ideas were scattered, the words lacked the punch, and though comfortable in the use of the language, they missed the core ideas of the questions asked to them.
It’s a skill that needs practice, a skill not focused on at school. I’ve been assisting my children and some of their friends overcome this by teaching them step by step.
That’s why I decided to add more context to the exercise and created this course.

Welcome to the Tuesday Toots! Let’s face it, getting kids to do their chores can sometimes feel like an Olympic sport—one that deserves a medal. At the mention of “chores,” kids tend to disappear faster than a pet dog at the word “bath.” And let’s be real—many adults aren’t jumping with excitement to do them either. Chores can be mundane, monotonous, and often downright boring. But despite how we feel about them, they’re a crucial part of life, and, more importantly, doing chores builds…
At the beginning of every year, I religiously set a target for myself – the number of books I’m going to read in the year. I’m proud to say till this year I’ve always managed to meet the target and had even surpassed it some years (oh yes!). But this year, I realised that I had not met the target; actually, I was way, way below the mark. My excuse – it’s been a crazy year. I know I used the excuse last year also but this year I’m admitting it. Feeling a little bad about it but no worries I have still managed to read some fantastic books and loved the time I spent with them. Here are the top 5 books of 2021 I super enjoyed.
